FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Fourth Annual International Marathon March 28, 2013
London March 05, 2013: The National Algerian Centre; a leading UK-based
private organization, is excited to announce its fourth International
marathon, that will take place in Naama (Tiout – Algeria) from the 28th of
March to the 1st of April 2013.
The NAC and Eventos Agency teamed up in an effort to expand the tourism and
sporting industry in Algeria. The joint initiative offers visitors an
opportunity to indulge in their favourite past-time, as well as enriching
their experience through interactions with local inhabitants in a
harmonious environment.
Located in North Africa and bordering the Mediterranean Sea with an area
stretching to 2,381,741 square-miles, and sprawled across a high plateau
consisting of a wide desert, mountains, and discontinuous coastal plain,
Algeria is becoming a burgeoning destination. Its unspoiled and
undiscovered soil offers newcomers an array of unique sightseeing
attractions.
The International Marathon will start and finish in Tiout, a municipality
in the south east of Naama's wilaya, in Algeria's most visited south west
region.
Lynda Nebab, Director of the National Algerian Centre says: "It is a great
opportunity to introduce an exclusive event dedicated to sport tourism
industry in Algeria. We are expecting a fair amount of entrants from the
UK. They will be given the opportunity to participate in sporting
activities, local excursions, to have fun joining in on a wide range of
entertaining activities, and they can even taste local delicacies during
their stay in Tiout. We have prepared an exciting program that will cater
for youngsters and adults alike. The event is running for the fourth
successive year as it has proven triumphant every time, attracting people
from the four corners of the globe."
Mohamed Zerrouki, Eventos Marathon's manager declares: "We have brought
this one of a kind desert race for the first time in 2000, in Djanet. Our
team is made up of sports fans and specialists in sectors such as the
tourism industry, and promoters that actively engage in bringing travel and
sport together. We act competently to allow individuals to benefit from
professional and competitive services, and are glad to welcome our partner,
the National Algerian Centre's expertise in an effort to expand our
activities."
