About Billy Currington
Mercury Nashville singer/songwriter Billy Currington made his country debut
with his '03 self-titled album that spawned the powerful Top 10 hit "Walk A
Little Straighter" and the Top 5 smash "I Got A Feelin'." Then superstar
Shania Twain heard the Georgia native's soulful voice and chose him for the
hit duet "Party for Two." On his second and platinum-certified album Doin'
Somethin' Right, Currington delivered an even more mature Southern sound of
blues-tinged country songs including "Why, Why, Why," which he co-wrote,
and #1 hits "Good Directions" and "Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right", the
latter for which he won "Hottest Video of the Year" at the '06 CMT Music
Awards. Fall of '08 Currington debuted his third album Little Bit Of
Everything and he just picked up his third #1 single for the debut track
"Don't." He's co-written 19 of the tracks off his trio of albums, has been
nominated for a slew of industry awards previously chosen as People
magazine's "Sexiest Man." Catch him on tour with Sugarland or for more on

About Ashton Shepherd
Blink and you might miss tiny Leroy, Alabama, but if your ears are open,
you just might hear it. The pure, clear, country voice of Ashton Shepherd
lilts through the evening air in Leroy from a place called The Pickin'
Shed. It's a cabin behind her house situated on seven acres of cropland.
After the day's chores are over, she and her husband and her brother-in-law
break out their guitars and fill the Shed with songs. And what songs they
are. Ashton Shepherd writes in a style that is as refreshing and direct as
her personality. You won't hear many "kiss-off" songs with more sass and
attitude than "Takin' Off This Pain." Her bell-like voice chimes with
innocence on the charming rural celebration "Sounds So Good." She's a
feisty, fun country gal on "Not Right Now." "Old Memory" and "Whiskey Won
The Battle" are classic-sounding "weeper" ballads that could have been
written a generation ago. Her moods range from a touching story song like
"How Big Are Angel Wings" to a fiery hillbilly rocker like "The Bigger The
Heart." The drenched-in-steel love ballad "Lost In You" contrasts
beautifully with her striking, woman-to-woman saga "Regular Joe." Her
beloved "The Pickin' Shed" is the subject of one particularly friendly
ditty, and her powerful housewife lyric "I Ain't Dead Yet" is another page
from her autobiography. All of these potent tunes are on Sounds So Good,
the debut Ashton Shepherd album from MCA Nashville. All of them were
written before she turned 21.
About The Carter Twins - Josh and Zach Carter
Growing up in Akron, Ohio, 18-year-old twins Josh and Zach Carter were
surrounded by music from the time they were born. Their mother worked in
country radio and encouraged their interest — Zach stole time at her piano,
while she taught Josh "Stairway to Heaven" on the guitar. The family moved
to Hilton Head, S.C. when the brothers were fifteen, and they continued to
craft their musicianship playing hundreds of live gigs while juggling a
busy high school schedule. In 2008, the Carter Twins were in Los Angeles
performing and scored a chance meeting with an MTV exec, who ultimately led
them to CMT. The brothers recently completed high school and moved to
Nashville to pursue their music career full-time under the development of
CMT. Still settling into their new digs, Josh and Zach spent the summer
working with some of Music City's best songwriters and crafting as many as
30 songs in just three months. Under the helm of Frank Rogers, Billboard
magazine's #1 country producer, the Carter Twins are working on their debut
album for an anticipated release in Summer 2009.
