Eugene OR - Eugene physical therapist Robert Wayner and running coach Anna 
Heintz will give a talk titled "Marathon Training and Injury Prevention" on 
January 12, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Cooperative Performance & Rehabilitation, 
1711 Willamette St., Suite 302.  Wayner received his doctorate in physical 
therapy and his bachelor's degree in exercise physiology from Ohio 
University.  A competitive distance runner, he manages the clinic's RunWell 
performance running program.  

Cooperative Performance & Rehabilitation is the official Sports Medicine 
Sponsor of the 2011 Eugene Marathon.  Anna Heintz has been a competitive 
runner for more than 11 years and has coached marathoners since 2007.  A 
graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison creative writing program, 
Heintz lives in Eugene where she writes for Marathon and Beyond magazine 
and teaches running courses for the University of Oregon physical education 
department.  She also founded Happy Running, LCC, through which she coaches 
performance-oriented athletes by means of individual training programs.  A 
question-and-answer period will follow the talk.
