With Kimberly-Clark Corporation
APPLETON, WI – The Community First Fox Cities Marathon has entered into a
major partnership with Kimberly-Clark Corporation as a platinum sponsor,
which includes secondary naming rights of the event. Effective
immediately, the new name of the weekend of events will be the 'Community
First Fox Cities Marathon presented by Kimberly-Clark'. A new logo was
unveiled at the kick-off event, held on April 29.
Community First Credit Union is proud to be the founding/Title Sponsor of
the event since its inception in 1991. CFCU President & CEO, Catherine
Tierney stated, "We are very grateful to all of the companies who have and
continue to sponsor the Marathon and related events over the past 20 years.
This new sponsorship with Kimberly-Clark is particularly exciting as it
allows us the opportunity to take our event to the next level, while
continuing to maintain our commitment and focus on community involvement
and support."
"On behalf of Kimberly-Clark Corporation and our employees here in the Fox
Valley, I couldn't be more proud about partnering with Community First
Credit Union to provide a world-class event that enriches lives and
provides for health and wellness," said Andrew Meurer, Vice President of
Marketing for Adult and Feminine Care, Kimberly-Clark. "Our support for
the Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Kimberly-Clark is a
perfect fit and natural extension of our K-C Cares program that provides

With this increased corporate support by Kimberly-Clark, their brands will
be incorporated across the entire weekend of events in a way that will
enhance their exposure and presence. Kimberly-Clark brand-sponsored
contest, events, and product sampling will enhance the overall experience
for participants, spectators, and Fox Cities residents.
