The Medical Mutual Glass City Marathon Early Registration Now Open

Toledo, OH... Registration is now open for the 2014 Medical Mutual Glass
City Marathon will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2014. Early Bird
Registration will end December 31, 2013. As a result of the success of the
37th Annual Medical Mutual Glass City Marathon, the Toledo Roadrunners Club
donated over $100,000 to local charities including Great Lakes
Collaborative for Autism, Habitat for Humanity, Kid's Unlimited, Family
House, Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo, Girls on the Run and Research

The Medical Mutual Glass City Marathon is known for being one of the 25
fastest courses in the nation and acts as a qualifier for the Boston
Marathon. Race participants are encouraged to register early to ensure
that they secure their spot in this time-honored event; the Owens Corning
Half Marathon is guaranteed to sell out as in past years.
Based on a 2013 Economic Impact Study created by the University of Toledo,
Department of Economics, the Medical Mutual Glass City Marathon accounted
for more than $600,000 of increased economic activity in Northwest Ohio.
With over 6,000 runners representing over 43 states and over 375 children
ages 2-12, the Medical Mutual Glass City Marathon continues to grow as a
signature event for the region. Economic impact studies calculate the boost
to the local economy of spending by visitors and guests from an event. The

The 2014 Medical Mutual Glass City Marathon is a family event offering
multiple runs to fit every level of participant including a Marathon, Owens
Corning Half Marathon, 5-Person Marathon Relay, 5K and the Findley Davies
Kid's Marathon. Dave's Performance Footgear is once again the official
training team for the Marathon and Owens Corning Half Marathon. The
training runs provide heart rate coaching and support to help you
accomplish your running goal.
Discounted early bird registration for the 2014 Medical Mutual Glass City
Marathon is currently open to the first 8,250 entrants until 12/31/13.
Normal and late registration is available until April 26, 2014. No
registrations will be accepted on race day. Early Bird Registration is
