           ZAPPOS.COM LAS VEGAS MARATHON ANNOUNCES 2008 DATE
                      AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Las Vegas, Nev. – Zappos.com Las Vegas Marathon will take place on Sunday 
Dec. 7, 2008 at 6:00 a.m. at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.  Fireworks start 
the race as runners run down the legendary Las Vegas Strip.  Runners and 
walkers can register for the full marathon and half marathon on
www.lvmarathon.com.    

Last year the marathon registered over 16,000 runners, attracted spectators 
and brought out the best entertainers from the famed Las Vegas Strip such 
as Blue Man Group, Spamalot and various entertainers from the Cirque du 
Soleil shows. The running field annually represents 50 states, more than 41 
countries and over 1,900 International runners.

Zappos.com Las Vegas Marathon appeals to runners with ideal weather and a 
loop course with a gradual mid-race incline followed by a downhill sprint 
to the finish line.  In advance of the race, a two-day Quality of Life Expo 
will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.  The expo is free and 
open to the public.

Fees for the 2008 Zappos.com Las Vegas Marathon are $85 for the full 
marathon and $75 for the half marathon now through March 31, 2008.   More
