                  Little Rock Marathon Registrations Up 127%
				  
                     Entry Fees Going Up On November 1

LITTLE ROCK, AR (October 26, 2011) – The 10th annual Little Rock Marathon, 
presented by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, is well on its way to another 
sell out according to race officials.  With twenty weeks until race day, 
registrations are up 127% as compared to the same timeframe last year. 

The Little Rock Marathon, presented by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, will 
be held March 3 & 4, 2012 in downtown Little Rock. The Little Rock Marathon 
is a project of and benefits the Little Rock Parks & Recreation.

The registration boom is attributed to increased exposure of the race to 
new athletes; continued positive word of mouth spread throughout the 
international marathon community, and a strong training program. 

Registration fees for the marathon and half marathon, which are among the 
lowest in the industry, will be increasing after November 1 and it is 
strongly recommended that interested athletes register soon.  Registration 
fees are as follows:
