Louisiana micro beers and local cuisine with a healthy twist will keep the
celebratory mood going.

the entire family offering something for everyone. A wellness and fitness
expo featuring running and lifestyle exhibitors will anchor the running
community in downtown Baton Rouge Friday, Jan. 13th and Saturday, Jan.

culmination of months of wellness and fitness training for all types of
runners of all ages," says Craig Sweeney, race director of The Louisiana
Marathon.
A pre-race pasta dinner is scheduled for Saturday night, featuring guest
speaker Jeff Galloway, a professional running coach who perfected the

events, the marathon and half-marathon races, begin early morning Sunday.

marathon will be an official Boston Qualifier. Groups of 2 or 4 people are
encouraged to enter the marathon as a relay team. Special medals will be
