Solutia to Become Title Sponsor of Inaugural Rock 'n' Roll St. Louis
Local Special Needs Instructional Sports Program Named Benefiting Charity
ST. LOUIS, January 24, 2011 -- Solutia Inc. (NYSE: SOA) today announced its
title sponsorship of the inaugural Rock 'n' Roll Marathon & ½ Marathon in
St. Louis to benefit Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK). The Rock 'n'
Roll Marathon series, managed by San Diego-based Competitor Group, Inc., is
famous for its live bands, cheerleaders and block party atmosphere.

TASK provides sports and recreational activities for St. Louis-area
children and young adults with special needs.

More than 15,000 runners are expected to participate in St. Louis'
inaugural Rock 'n' Roll Marathon & ½ Marathon on October 23, 2011. A free
two-day expo will be held Friday and Saturday, and the event weekend will
conclude with a post-race concert at the finish line. Past acts at Rock 'n'
Roll Marathons in other cities have included SEAL, INXS, Journey, B-52s,
Goo Goo Dolls and Bret Michaels.
