  Goodlife Fitness Toronto Marathon Road Reopenings On October 17, 2010

Toronto, ON - October 15, 2010 - The 16th annual GoodLife Fitness Toronto 
Marathon takes to the streets of Toronto on Sunday, October 17th.

The GoodLife Fitness Toronto Marathon is the oldest Marathon in Toronto, 
generating over $25 million to the local economy each year.  Over 15,000 
participants from 55+ counties are expected to participate in our combined 
events.  Since 1995 the event has generated over $10 million for its 
various charitable partners including the Princess Margaret Hospital 
Foundation, Hemophilia, Multiple Sclerosis, and Diabetes.

Starting just behind Mel Lastman Square on Beecroft Rd. north of Sheppard, 
the runner's will travel south through the streets and many neighbourhoods 
of the city including Lawrence Park, Yonge and Eglinton, Forest Hill, 
Rosedale, St. Lawrence Market, Queen's Quay, and University Ave as they 
make their way to the finish line at Queen's Park. This course offers a 
fantastic tour of the city on foot as well as offering participants a fast 
course in which they can obtain a PB.

The roads are reopened behind the last runner in the Marathon. We expect 
that, with the exception of University Ave. and parts of Queen's Quay, most 
of the course will be reopened by 11:00 AM.
