St. Paul, Minn. - September 30, 2014 - Kim Jones, a two-time champion of
the Twin Cities Marathon, will join a group of Mayo Clinic health and
fitness experts as the headliners for the 2014 Medtronic Twin Cities
Marathon Health & Fitness Expo at Saint Paul RiverCentre on October 3 & 4.
The free event features more than 120 exhibitors offering the latest
running and fitness information, advice, and products; the Athlete News
Conference highlighting professional athletes and inspirational "Faces in
the Crowd" participants; plus additional presenters. The expo will also
offer bystander CPR instruction from the Minnesota Resuscitation Consortium

Jones, who won the Twin Cities Marathon in 1986 and 1989, is the author of
the acclaimed book Dandelion Growing Wild, an autobiography chronicling her
running career, as well as many challenges that she faced on and off the
race course. The subject of Jones' talk at the expo is: Running Through the
Wall of Adversity.
The Mayo Clinic's expert presenters will speak on a wide range of topics
including strength training, injury prevention, and fueling for
performance. Mayo Clinic is a proud sponsor of the Medtronic Twin Cities
Marathon. More than 3,700 physicians, scientists and researchers, and
