Race Participants in the Long Beach International City Bank
Marathon Events get FREE ADMISSION into the Aquarium of the Pacific
Show the Race Bib on Race Weekend to get Free Entry
Long Beach, CA - July 26, 2006. The Aquarium of the Pacific and
International City Racing have teamed up again to offer all race
participants Free Entry into the Aquarium over the race weekend on Friday,
October 13, Saturday, October 14, and Sunday, October 15, 2006. Upwards of
18,000 athletes will be participating in the Long Beach International City
Bank Marathon being held on Sunday, October 15, 2006. Runners, walkers and
cyclists will be able to meet over 12,500 animals from the world's largest
ocean, watch sea lions play, feed lorikeet birds, and touch live sharks.
Also, they will have the opportunity to visit the newest exhibit, Dazzling
and Dangerous--Venomous Creatures. Discover the faces behind the fangs,
stingers, and spines of the ocean's most venomous creatures as well as
those that lurk in local deserts at the Aquarium of the Pacific.

pick up your Bib and Race Packet and enjoy all the fun sights and sounds of

participants from across the nation and many foreign countries are again
expected to run, walk or ride in the 22nd Annual Long Beach International
City Bank Marathon, Half-Marathon, Marathon Bike Tour and 5K Run / Walk on
Sunday, October 15th. The Convention Center in Long Beach also hosts the
2-day Marathon Health & Fitness Expo with over 30,000 in attendance.
