  2004 Walt Disney World Half Marathon Registration Closes in Record Time
         Disney Half Marathon Registration Reaches 6,000 Runners

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (March 13) - Registration for the 2004 Walt Disney
World Marathon and Half Marathon is off to a blistering start with the Half
Marathon reaching its full capacity of 6,000 runners less than two weeks
after the opening of registration on March 1.

The March 12 closing date is the fastest in the history of the Half
Marathon, which became part of the Walt Disney World Marathon race weekend
in 1998.  (The 2003 Half Marathon reached its goal on March 25 of last year
after race organizers increased capacity by one thousand to its current
number.)

Meanwhile, registration for the Marathon continues at a brisk pace with more
than 6,000 runners registered for the 26.2-mile trek through all four theme
parks and resort areas.  Capacity for the Marathon is expected to conclude
at 16,000 entrants.  Both the Marathon and Half Marathon races are set for
January 11, 2004. The race weekend, themed "Run Away With Your 
Imagination," also features the FamilyFun Magazine 5K and Kids Races on 
Jan. 10, 2004, and the two-day Disney's Health and Fitness Expo at Disney's 
Wide World of Sports Complex on Jan. 9-10, 2004.
