| Description: | The Running Dead is a timed zombie run set through the streets of Connellsville, Pa. Runners will be equipped with a flag belt and will dodge and weave zombies that want to take their flags throughout the route. Horror and zombie-themed events to follow the race including zombie contests and horror movies. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with the race beginning at noon. Preregistration is $25 for both runners and zombies by Oct. 13. Registration on the day of the event is $35. Half the proceeds will benefit the CAHS Patriots, a student-run 501C3 organization that organizes veteran programs and sends care packages to troops serving overseas.
