| Description: | My first marathon at 50 was like the day. Cloudless blue skies and ocean. Mary and I ran together until mile 18 talking and supporting each other. The last six miles I picked up the pace and finished in 4:42. The stretch at mile 20 is a hill with a breath taking view of a lighthouse and ocean that inspired me to new levels . |
