Favorite Runs - Disney Marathon

Location:	Orlando, FL, USA
Description:	I have not run this marathon but am writing to inform others that when you enter this race, regardless of the circumstances, the race fees are not refundable. After entering this race in August, I found out that my wife had cancer and would undego surgery ,chemotherapy and radiation. I wrote to Disney requesting a postphonement until next year as she would be too ill to attend and I need to be home to care for my children and the house. Two weeks later I received the following response "All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. There is no wait list for any of the events." So much for a family oriented race!
