Road Runner Akron Marathon Presents Action-Packed 2010 Schedule Of Events
Real-time Tracking of Runners Available for First Time
AKRON, Ohio (Sept. 15, 2010) - Whether you're a runner or spectator, this
year's Road Runner Akron Marathon offers three full days of excitement for
everyone. And new this year, spectators will be able to watch a live
broadcast of the race inside Canal Park Stadium, as well as track their
runners in real-time via monitors along the concourse.
"We know how much Akron rallies around the marathon in the weeks and even
months before the race," said Anne Bitong, executive director of the Road
Runner Akron Marathon. "The excitement reaches a peak the week of the
event, so we're delighted to offer a variety of fun outlets for all of the
enthusiasm."

Race organizers are encouraging runners to register as soon as possible for
all events, as they are filling fast. Online registration closes at
midnight on September 20, 2010. The last opportunity to register will be at
the Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 11:00 a.m.
