                  32nd Annual Army Ten-Miler Sells Out 
         Runners Can Still Enter Race Via Online Transfer Program

WASHINGTON - Army Ten-Miler (ATM) race organizers are pleased to announce 
that registration for the 32nd annual race has sold out after reaching its 
35,000 runner field cap. 

This year's new ATM registration contractor, MarathonGuide.com, executed 
two official registration sessions: the May 11 priority registration 
presented by Navy Federal Credit Union, and the May 25 general registration 
presented by General Dynamics. 

"We received a number of positive comments about this year's registration 
process and our new registration provider, MarathonGuide.com," said Jim 
Vandak, who has served as director of the ATM since 2000. "Special thanks 
to our runners, sponsors and MarathonGuide.com for their support; we are 
energized by the fact that everyone's ATM experience has started on such 
strong footing," he added.

"MarathonGuide.com specializes in handling registrations for large, complex 
and high-volume events, including the largest ones in the United States," 
said John Elliott, president of registration provider MarathonGuide.com. 
"We were happy to have the opportunity to share our expertise with the Army 
Ten-Miler team and to ensure a positive registration experience. We were

to us concerning the ease and speed of the registration process," he added.

Runners who missed the registration sessions can still gain entry to the 
race through the ATM Online Transfer Program, which is open from June 8 - 
August 19, 2016.  Registered runners (sellers) can link up with buyers and 
transfer their registrations through a secure online form.

The Army Ten-Miler is scheduled for October 9, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. EDT in 
Washington, D.C. The Army's race is the third largest ten-mile road race in 
the world. The ATM starts and finishes at the Pentagon with a course that 
winds through Washington, D.C. All race proceeds benefit Soldier and 
Soldier family MWR programs.
