Press Release - Atlantic City Marathon - 1/22/13

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Atlantic City Marathon Race Series Joins Forces with
Road Runners Club of America and 8 Other Races to Run to Restore the Shore

Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) New Jersey Representative of Metuchen,
N.J. has announced the Inaugural RRCA NJ Grand Prix Series of races to be
held throughout the state in 2013. This is to be the first year of an
annual event including a year-long series of nine races. The 2013 Atlantic
City Marathon (marathon distance only) and other events listed below were
selected based on their commitment to pledge money (per finisher) to the
Hurricane Sandy Relief Foundation (HSRF). Together, as a unified running
community these races plan to make a big impact.

The comprehensive fundraising goal of $100,000 is set and runners are now
able to register to Run to Restore the Shore at www.rrcanj.org. There is no
additional cost to enroll in this series and runners are able to register
for each event individually. Upon completion of six races, runners will be
awarded the commemorative "I Ran to Restore the Shore" over-sized medal,
amongst other individual and team awards.

"The nation watched as residents of our shore communities lost their homes
and belongings during Hurricane Sandy. We are excited about the opportunity
to bring people back to Atlantic City, to run the boardwalk in an effort to
support those families that are still in need," Steve Brog Esq, Committee
Chair of the Atlantic City Marathon Race Series said. "We look forward to
working with other New Jersey races to accomplish the fundraising goal set
by RRCA."

A Facebook page has been created to obtain the latest information on RRCA
NJ and its partnered races.

About HSRF: The aftermath of Hurricane Sandy is a devastatingly tragic
scene. Homes have been completely demolished leaving families in despair,
worried, and scattered in various shelter facilities. Countless numbers of
men, women, children, and animals, throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region and
Eastern United States have been affected. Sandyrelief.org is the official
Page of The Hurricane Sandy Relief Foundation ("HSRF"). The HSRF was
established to raise awareness, organize volunteer service efforts, and
extend relief to Sandy victims. All of our donations go towards food,
clothing, supplies, aid in rescue and clean-up efforts, and the future
rebuilding of communities and lives destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.

About the Atlantic City Marathon Race Series: The Atlantic City Marathon
Race Series is a division of the Milton & Betty Katz JCC, a non-profit
organization based in Margate, New Jersey. The Race Series is dedicated to
supporting the local community charitable works as well as the Milton &
Betty Katz Early Childhood Scholarship Programs. Working in conjunction
with National charitable organizations, it is the goal of the Atlantic City
Marathon Race Series to support organizations that fundraise through road
racing events. The Race Series strives to offer events that allow
participants of all skill levels to participate and accomplish their
personal goals. Throughout the year, the Atlantic City Marathon Race Series
provides sponsors and the local community highly effective exposure helping
to maximize their presence and support the community.
