            Zurich Marato De Barcelona: The Race of The Future

Next March 15th 2015 a renewed Zurich Marató de Barcelona will land with 
great novelties, to position the event among the elite of the world's top 
long distance races.  With five months to go to the celebration of the 
race, we have already exceeded the 5.000 registered runners.

With less than six months to go until the celebration of the Zurich Marató 
de Barcelona 2015, RPM Racing organizer of the event, is reeling off the 
main axes of action to place the race among the top European races of 
reference. 

To continue growing in quality and quantity, the organization has already 
begun to work from different sectors, once exceeded last week the 5.000 
registered runners. In that sense, we will pay special attention to the 
international and national promotions. Among the international promotions, 
the activities that began last month of September, with a booth at the 
runner's fair of Berlin. Later on, we have carried out promotional tasks at 
the runner's fair of Amsterdam, Dublin and Frankfurt, and we will travel 
this coming weekend to the marathon of Porto. The following stops before 
Christmas will be at the Behobia-San Sebastián, at the Divina Pastora de 
València and in Florence.

One of the areas that also will be reinforced will be the complementary 
activities around the race. Besides the always growing Expo Sport, runner's 
fair of reference in Europe, a more important Breakfast Run and the 
traditional Pasta Party, in this edition there will be a Children's race. A 
good way to promote sport among children and create a festive and family 
atmosphere the hours prior the long distance race.

On the other hand, the athletes' coordinator, will travel in the coming 
days to Kenya for the celebration of the Eldoret marathon. A race that will 
gather the best African athletes and will help us to find the elite runners 
for the next Zurich Marato de Barcelona 2015, to continue improving the 
sporting level of the race which counts on a best record of 2.07.30 by 
Jakson Kotut in 2010.
