Press Release - Elite Runner Management - 11/12/14

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Jonathan Peterson, UC Davis All-American & Member of Team USA Minnesota,
                    Signs With Elite Runner Management

Jonathan Peterson, former cross country All-American at UC Davis and member
of Team USA Minnesota, has signed an agency contract with Elite Runner
Management, the Michigan based sports agency headed by Christopher Mengel.

"I chose Chris Mengel and ERM because I wanted to expand my career as an
athlete and work with an agent who is as passionate about the sport as I
am," Peterson said. "I've heard about Chris' reputation and he is exactly
what I was looking for."

"Jon is a talented athlete who is just starting to scratch the surface of
his potential," said Mengel. "Under the watchful eye of Dennis Barker, his
highly regarded coach at Team USA Minnesota, Jon has proven this year that
he has the ability to compete with the very best athletes on both the track
and on the roads. We anticipate even greater accomplishments as his career
progresses into 2015 and beyond. ERM is excited about the prospect of
representing Jon and we are extremely pleased he signed with our agency."

This year has been a breakthrough year for Peterson. He has shown his
versatility by setting personal records at multiple distances including the
mile (4:00.54 Letterkenny, Ireland), 3000 meter (7:55.36 Oordegem,
Belgium), 5000 meter (13:39.51 Sacramento), 5K Road (14:16 Providence), and
10K Road (29:28 Northport).

His accomplishments in 2014 include placing 5th at the Bix USA 7 Mile
Championships (33:55), 8th at the USA Outdoor Championships in the 5000
meters (13:39.51), and 1st at the Medtronic TC 10 Mile Championship in
Minneapolis in 48:12. This past weekend, Peterson placed 7th (2nd American)
in the EQT Pittsburgh 10-Miler. Peterson, who was also a member of Team USA
in the 2013 International Cross Country Championships in Edinburgh,
Scotland, is currently rated 86th by All-Athletics.com in world rankings in
the men's 5000 meters.

Peterson attributes his recent success to subtle changes in his training
program with Coach Barker which has allowed him to stay healthy. "After
being plagued by injury last winter, I've finally taken the appropriate
measures to assure that I stay healthy throughout the season," Peterson
said. "With maintaining good health, I think we'll be seeing more of the
results we've been working towards. My plans going forward are to continue
growing my presence on the road, while also putting some emphasis on my
track season to build speed and strength along with getting an Olympic
Trials qualifier for 2016." On November 16th, Peterson will finish his fall
campaign by competing in the US National 12K Championships in Alexandria,
Virginia.
