Press Release - Fall Foliage Half Marathon - 9/10/13

  3rd Annual Fall Foliage Half Marathon and 5K Ready for Race Day with 
 Acquisition of New Presenting Sponsor and Large Jump in Race Registration
 
The 3rd Annual Fall Foliage Half Marathon and 5k will take place Sunday, 
October 13 in Rhinebeck, NY. The race moved to the Dutchess County 
Fairgrounds because of major growth that is expected in both attendance and 
spectators. Registration continues to move quickly as race organizers are 
looking forward to a sellout race. This year's presenting sponsor is 
Meltzer & Hill Wealth Advisory. Charity partners include local Northern 
Dutchess Hospital Foundation and the Michael J. Fox Foundation for 
Parkinson's Research.
 
Presenting sponsor, Meltzer & Hill are looking forward to the race as it is 
a great way to give back to the community and surrounding areas. "We 
embrace a team approach with our clients and are thrilled to join in 
raising funds for the Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation and Michael J 
Fox Foundation," said Philip Meltzer, partner of Meltzer & Hill Wealth 
Advisory. "We believe in giving back to the communities that have placed 
their trust in us." Meltzer is also running the race himself. 
 
Race Registration is ongoing at www.fallfoliagehalf.com. Registration will 
be available on race weekend provided that the race does not exceed 1000 
participants. Packet pickup will be held on Saturday October 12, 2013 at 
the Dutchess County Fairgrounds from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Rhinebeck. 
The Half Marathon will start at 10:00 a.m. and the 5K will take place 
shortly thereafter.
