Press Release - Fall Foliage Half Marathon - 9/23/14

               Fall Foliage Half Raises Money for Team Fox, 
                  Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation
 
The Fall Foliage Half Marathon and 5K is set to take place Sunday October 
12, 2014 starting and finishing at the Dutchess Country Fairgrounds in 
Rhinebeck, NY. Registration continues to move quickly as race organizers 
are looking forward to a sellout race. Race organizer Running Away Inc., is 
excited for the fourth year as the race continues to expand and grow. "The 
move to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds last year really opened up the 
possibilities for expansion and growth. Among the beneficiaries of this 
growth include our two charity partners," remarked owner Matt Linick. 
Charity partners include the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's 
Research and regionally the Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation. 
 
Charity partner, Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation is looking forward 
to an exciting event supporting the community as well as the local 
hospital. "Our goal is to raise money for a great cause while having fun 
doing so," said Dawn Morrison, Executive Director of the Northern Dutchess 
Hospital Foundation. "The Fall Foliage Half Marathon and 5K is a great 
opportunity for athletes to support the Foundation and give back to the 
community."
 
Race Registration is ongoing at www.fallfoliagehalf.com. Registration will 
be available on race weekend provided that the race does not exceed 1200 
participants. Packet pickup and a Pre-Race Expo, open to the public, will 
be held on Saturday October 11, 2014 at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in 
Rhinebeck from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Half Marathon will start at 
10:00 a.m. and the 5K will start at 10:20 a.m. This year's presenting 
sponsor is Meltzer & Hill Wealth Advisory located in Kingston, NY.
