Fox Cities Marathon Search for "Great Women of the Race"
Recognizing Inspiring Women at September 2011 Events
07.15.2011 – The Community First Fox Cities Marathon presented by
Kimberly-Clark, along with Kimberly-Clark's Poise® and Kotex® brands
announce a contest to recognize the "Great Women of the Race." Tell us YOUR
inspiring story of why you are running or walking one of the race weekend
events. It could be in honor of someone, in recognition of a special
accomplishment, as part of a group, to bring awareness to a cause – you
name it! You tell us what's inspiring you to run or walk!
Requirements: Open only to legal female residents of the 50 United States
and Washington D.C., 18 year of age or older as of February 1, 2011
participating in the Community First Fox Cities Marathon, ThedaCare
Orthopedics Plus Half Marathon, Time Warner Cable 5k Run/Walk or Orthopedic
& Sports Institute Relay Marathon on September 16-18, 2011. Contest begins
on February 1, 2011 at 12:01 AM CST and ends Monday, August 1, 2011 at
11:59 PM CST.
How to Enter: Go to FoxCitiesMarathon.org and follow the instructions to
complete and submit your entry or print and mail the completed form to:

Completed entries must include first and last name, complete mailing
address with zip code, email address, age, phone number(s) and an essay of
up to 200 words that describes your inspirational story. Limit one entry
per person.
All eligible entries will be evaluated on four (4) criteria: inspiration
(25%), uniqueness (25%), creativity (25%), and fun (25%). Up to 10 women
and/or a team of women (5-25 women) will be chosen from entries received
and will be listed on the website and recognized through media coverage
before and on race weekend. Each winner will receive a special "Great Women
of the Race" singlet.
More than 8,000 participants are expected during the 21st annual weekend of
events, set for September 16-18, 2011:
• Community First Fox Cities Marathon
• ThedaCare Orthopedics Plus Half Marathon
• Orthopedic and Sports Institute Relay Marathon
• Time Warner Cable 5k Run/Walk
• Guardian Kids Fun Run
• Affinity Health and Wellness Expo
