The challenge will raise funds for KARNO Kids, a children's charity focused on youth fitness and activity. "I look forward to making October 27th a great preview of what will soon be one of the finest marathons in the country I am sure," said Dean. "What better way to showcase and highlight the terrific course, than to run it for a good cause with local runners. This will be a unique way to jump start the word of mouth campaign for the actual event in March." Karnazes will return to Atlanta in March to be a part of the inaugural ING Georgia Marathon experience. During race week, he will: * Speak during the ING Georgia Marathon Health & Fitness Expo on March 23 & 24, 2007 * Sign copies of his book during the Expo * Speak at select schools to promote youth fitness * Run in the ING Georgia Marathon as a Pace Group leader Runners wishing to preview the ING Georgia Marathon course in October with Karnazes can register at www.endurance50.com and pledge a minimum of $100 that will benefit KARNO Kids.
