Press Release - Georgia Marathon - 1/19/07

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Official Limited-Edition Print And Official Participants Poster
Unveiled For ING Georgia Marathon And Half Marathon

Two Scholarship Prizes Awarded To Winning Designs from Students
At Savannah College Of Art & Design

(ATLANTA, Jan. 19, 2007) – In a gallery on the Atlanta campus of the
Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) the race director of the ING
Georgia Marathon & Half Marathon announced the winning designs of the
official Limited Edition Print and the official Participants Poster for the
inaugural race (March 25). The artists for each design, selected from eight
finalists who all attend SCAD, were presented with SCAD scholarships.

The winning design, which incorporated the skyline of Atlanta, dogwood
blossoms and a variety of runners, was created by NaLee Kim of Seoul, South
Korea, a fourth-year undergraduate student. Kim received a $2,500 SCAD
scholarship. This design will be available by purchase as a signed,
limited-edition print. The runner-up design, which will be a souvenir
poster given to each of the 15,0000 race participants, was designed by
Scott Zettergren of Atlanta, Ga., a second-year graduate student.
Zettergren received a $500 SCAD scholarship. PSI Promotional Solutions,
Inc. (PSI) an official race sponsor and one of the coordinators of the
design contest awarded both scholarships.

"It's not very often that an inaugural event of this size comes along, and
we're thrilled to have not one, but two beautiful designs to commemorate
the race," said Victoria Seahorn, race director of the ING Georgia Marathon
& Half Marathon, who was at the ceremony to unveil the winning designs.
"The creativity involved with this contest began in the fall with the
students simulating a half marathon at the school. They had a carbo-loading
dinner and crossed a finish line with a sweep of a brush stroke, rather
than a stride in a foot race, after working for 13 hours and 1 minute. I
expect it was just as exhausting for them as it will be for 15,000 people
come March. We are very proud of their efforts."

The unique design contest was held on November 11, 2006, with a total of 39
SCAD students participating. The competing graphic design and/or
advertising students had 13 hours and one minute (simulating 13.1 miles of
the half marathon) to create their own original designs. They could work
alone or in teams. At the conclusion of the contest each student crossed
the "finish line," submitted an individual entry, and received a Design
Contest Medal. A judge's panel, consisting of representatives from ING
Americas (event title sponsor), SCAD and race staff, selected the eight
finalists and two winning designs.

The other six finalists included: Marie Cagel of Decatur, Ga.; Adrian
McPherson of St. Catherine, Jamaica; Rohan Nanavati of Surat, Gujarat,
India; Junghoon Park of Kyungki-do, South Korea; Claire Reeve of Atlanta,
Ga.; Team of Jorge Montes-Goñi of Ponce, Puerto Rico and Johanna Tysk of
Kista, Sweden.

PSI will produce both the print and the poster. The limited-edition print
will be signed and numbered by artist NaLee Kim and available for purchase
on the ING Georgia Marathon & Half Marathon web site,
www.inggeorgiamarathon.com.

Only 500 of the prints will be produced; they will retail at a cost of $225
for framed and $70 for unframed. "Just like the race, we expect the
limited-edition print to sell out very quickly," said Londa Pompillio,
president, PSI. The official participants poster will be given to all
registered runners and wheelchair athletes as part of their race packet.
