The Louisiana Marathon Welcomes
ABITA BREWING COMPANY as Presenting Partner for 2015 Event
Louisiana-based ABITA to Host Post-Race Finish Festival
October 14, 2014 - The Louisiana Marathon proudly welcomes ABITA BREWING
COMPANY as a presenting partner for the three day running festival weekend,
happening January 16, 17 and 18, 2015 in downtown Baton Rouge, LA.
ABITA will host the free post-race Finish Fest on Saturday and Sunday on
the grounds of the Louisiana State Capitol. Featuring local cuisine and the
high-energy sounds of Michael Foster Project and Rockin Dopsie and the
Zydeco Twisters, The Louisiana Marathon Finish Fest hosted by ABITA
provides runners with a post-race party that is truly a celebration of all
things Louisiana.
Last year, more than 24,000 runners, kids marathon participants,
spectators, foodies, spectators and music lovers enjoyed the two-day free
Finish Fest.
Finish Fest hosted by ABITA will crank up when runners participating in the
Louisiana 5k, Quarter Marathon and Kids Marathon cross the finish line near
the State Capitol Park on Saturday, January 17, 2015. The Finish Fest will
continue on Sunday, January 18, following the Louisiana Marathon and Half
Marathon.

Founded in 2011, The Louisiana Marathon is a nationally recognized, 3-day
running festival that showcases the sport of running with the passion of
Louisiana music, cuisine and art. With The Marathon, The Half, The Quarter,
5K and Kids Marathon, there is a race for everyone. Run+Eat+Dance+Laugh is
the motto of The Louisiana Marathon.
