Press Release - The National Black Marathoners Association - 3/19/09

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The National Black Marathoners' Association (NBMA) Selects the ING Georgia
Marathon, Half Marathon, and the Publix 5K and Kids Run for its 2010 Event.

The National Black Marathoners' Association has selected the ING Georgia
Marathon, Half Marathon, and Publix 5K Run/Walk and Kids Run for its 2010
Event in Atlanta, GA. This event is one of the largest events in the
Southeast and features a full pre-race expo. There's an event for every
walker and runner. It will be held on the weekend of March 27, 2010.

Charlotte Simmons-Foster, NBMA's Co-Founder and Race Selection Director,
says, "We're happy to have our 2010 gathering in Atlanta, GA. The races
start and end in Centennial Park, which is one of the centerpieces of the
1996 Olympic Games. The marathon course also passes Martin Luther King
Jr.'s birthplace, as well as Georgia Tech and Emory Universities. They also
have a great race expo. This race was also mentioned in the March, 2009
edition of Runner's World."

For 10+ years Charlotte has been an active member South Fulton Running
Partners. She has served as President and she is currently the Membership
Coordinator (www.SFRPAtlanta.org/). This is the oldest predominantly
Black recreational running club in the US. They will be hosting their 30th
Annual Sickle Cell 7K Run/4K Walk on April 11, 2009.

The Co-Founders, Tony Reed and Charlotte will be at the NBMA's booth at
this year's ING Georgia Marathon Expo on March 27 and 28. In 2007, Mr. Reed
became the first Black in the world to run marathons on all seven
continents.
