                         New NBMA Board Members

Dallas, TX (April 22, 2013) - The National Black Marathoners Association 
welcomes two new members to their Board of Directors; Anthanette (Toni) 
Wilson and Alexandria Williams.

Anthanette (Toni) Wilson is a leadership coach and trainer in New York 
City. She is also a licensed attorney with an MBA and has experience as a 
corporate attorney and as a project manager in the entertainment industry. 
Toni is passionate about the cross-section of leadership development, 
servant leadership and social justice. She has served abroad as an 
international humanitarian team leader in under-resourced communities 
within Uganda and Kenya.

Toni currently serves as a thought-leader on various non-profit boards and 
raises funds for charities, such as Doctors Without Borders. Toni is a 
marathon enthusiast and age group winner. She's one of about 300 people in 
the world, who has run a marathon on every continent, including Antarctica. 
She's also completed the world's top five marathons, including the Boston 
Marathon. Toni has completed numerous triathlons and is an avid slalom 
snowboard racer. She is a firm believer in the power of leading by example 
to inspire others.

Alexandria Williams has over a decade of communication experience in 
various sectors. Currently she is a Media Relations Manager with the travel 
sector and the Co-Founder of Sporty Afros.com  

SportyAfros.com breaks down barriers between black women and optimal health 
by being the first site to connect the dots between hair care, exercise and 
nutrition. The site specifically solves  "I can't workout because of my 
hair" excuses many African- American women contribute as a hindrance to 
being active thus is actively decreasing the staggering obesity and 
diabetes rate among African American women.

Alexandria has been featured on sites like Essence, Fox Sports, Black 
America and USA Triathlon. She has completed various endurance events, 
including triathlon, distance running, and duathlon races. As a hair care 
and fitness expert for "Today's Active Black Women," she keeps busy with 
speaking engagements, hosting workshops and expanding the first hair care 
line specifically tailored to active women.
