Application for Entry Into The 2015
TCS New York City Marathon Opens on January 15
Guaranteed Entry into the Race on Sunday,
November 1, is Available Through NYRR's Team for Kids
New York, Monday, November 3, 2014-The runner application for entry into
the 2015 TCS New York City Marathon will open on January 15 and close on
February 15. The 45th running of the iconic, five-borough race will take
place on Sunday, November 1, 2015.
Interested runners for the 2015 TCS New York City Marathon can visit
tcsnycmarathon.org for more information on entry guidelines, including
methods to obtain guaranteed entry, and details on the non-guaranteed entry
drawing.
Information on guaranteed entry through NYRR's Team for Kids is available
at runwithtfk.org and the application is now open. Team for Kids is a
committed group of adult runners from around the world who add meaning to
their miles by raising funds for NYRR's Youth and Community Services
programs. The funds they raise provide free or low-cost health and fitness
programs to kids who would otherwise have little or no access to regular
physical activity. More than 200,000 students are served locally and
nationally through NYRR's free youth running programs, events, and
resources, including more than 120,000 in New York City's five boroughs.
Individuals can also enter now for a chance to win one of 60
non-complimentary guaranteed entries into the 2015 TCS New York City
Marathon. The sweepstakes runs through December 18, and the winners will be
selected at random no later than January 7, 2015. Runners can enter to win
