           MarathonFoto/Road Race Management Lifetime Achievement 
                         Award Nominations Are Open                  

July 25, 2022 - As part of the annual Road Race Management Race Directors'
Meeting, RRM will again honor an individual with the MarathonFoto/Road Race 
Management Lifetime Achievement Award. The award is for contributions to 
the sport of long distance road running over the course of a lifetime.

"Nominees should have made major contributions to the sport in more than 
one area, for example as administrator, elite athlete, promoter of the 
sport, or innovator as an event director or vendor. We will again honor a 
significant 'sport changer' - a person who has really made a difference," 
said Phil Stewart, RRM editor and publisher.

Nominations from the public are being solicited and can be completed online 
by visiting the Lifetime Achievement Award Nomination Form. Nominations 
will close October 18, 2022. A committee made up of race directors, sport 
administrators, industry leaders, past RRCA presidents and coaches will 
select the winner from the nominees.

The award will be presented at the annual Road Race Management Race 
Directors' Meeting at the keynote dinner on December 9 in Hollywood, FL.
