             The 16th Annual Goodlife Fitness Toronto Marathon

Toronto, ON - October 13, 2010 - On your mark, get set...go! Don't miss the 
exciting start and finish of the 16th annual GoodLife Fitness Toronto 
Marathon.  On Sunday October 17th, over 15,000 participants from 55+ 
countries will hit the streets of Toronto in support of the Princess 
Margaret Hospital Foundation and a host of other charities.  

Watch the start at Mel Lastman Square, Queen's Park for the finish, and 
anywhere along the 42 km route to see Toronto's largest running event of 
the year!

The GoodLife Fitness Toronto Marathon is the oldest marathon in Toronto, 
generating over $15 million to the local economy each year.  Over 15,000 
participants from 55+ countries are expected to participate in the 
Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K or Relay on October 17, 2010.

Since 1995, the GoodLife Fitness Toronto Marathon has generated over $10 
million for its various charitable partners including the Princess Margaret 
Hospital Foundation, Hemophilia, Multiple Sclerosis, and Diabetes.
