                 JAY CHALLENGE REGISTRATION GROWING

Jay, Vermont (April 25) - Registration for the 2005 edition of the Jay
Challenge has already shown another 100% growth over last year, with an
expected total registration of 500 racers.

Professional adventure racers Patrick Watson and Josh Crosby from Team Revo
have registered for the full three-day event in the Challenger category,
along with Harold Zundel and Adam Goodvibes from Team Balance Bar. John
Yip, a Canadian adventure racer with more than 10 international expedition
races to his credit will also compete in the Challenger category.

Several pro paddlers will compete in the paddling race on the first day of
the event, including Patrick Lynch, a two-time marathon canoe champion, and
Joe Glickman, one of the fastest surf ski paddlers in the world.

The Jay Challenge is a three-day stage race comprised of a 26-mile kayak
race across Lake Memphremagog, a 28 mile mountain marathon, and a 70-mile
mountain bike race. Participants may enter one or two of the events, or
compete in the entire three days. Racers in previous years have described
the marathon and mountain bike courses as some of the toughest they have
ever encountered.

Race director Dan DesRosiers comments, "With the marathon course getting
more technical this year and the mountain bike race being made longer and
more difficult, even the pro racers will have to fight for the podium."

The 2005 event will be held on July 29 - 31, and registration is currently
still open. For more information, contact Dan DesRosiers, or visit the
event website at www.jaychallenge.com.
