Everyone that spectates brings so much energy to the runners and the event itself is very well organized and efficient. The course is fairly flat and not terribly challenging. I absolutely love the BCS half/marathon!

I was able to get there 15 min before the start and walk out the the start line. There are copious aid stations on the course with some great volunteers. Also, running through the A&M campus was really nice.

The course is great because you are always turning, somewhat scenic and its not straight. Love running thru A&M. The Medic tent people are wonderful and so helping. The atmosphere is pleasant. Its not so big that its overwhelming. The strawberry treat at the end is my favorite - one reason I like to run it and the cold beer. I appreciate the hometown atmosphere. (Half Marathon runner)

The BCS half/full is one of the best races put there. I've been a spectator for years and this year was my first time to run. The community of runners is just outstanding and the company is phenomenal. The Bryan/College Station community is blessed in the fact that this races happens. And to see the children of the Mercy Project at the finish-It makes it all worth it.

I loved this race! The pre-race messaging was timely and informative, and made me excited for race day. Parking and the start of the race was the easiest I've ever experienced, the course was fabulous, and the spectators and security were the Best! The race swag and post-race items/food was just amazing! My first race in TX and my 4th half, and it blows the others out of the water!

"Great Course - Need More Bathrooms!" (about: 2018)

I love BCS and the course is fantastic. There is plenty of water and aid stations (yay!) but when you are 3/4 the way from finishing 13.1 and you quit taking water because you haven't seen a bathroom is 6 miles...you run into issues. This is my 2nd race with this group and both lacked an appropriate number of potties on the course! Please please please fix this issue because otherwise it's a great race!

I absolutely love this race. This was my 6th year to participate in the half marathon. I love how flat and fast the course is. The race directors take such wonderful care of their participants, from the water stations at pretty much every mile, to the awesome post race food, everything is perfect. It's so well organized, very low stress, and super fun. I also appreciate how this year the directors sent us a training plan, I was able to take 6 minutes off my PR. Can't wait till next race! :)

Good medium-sized race, with fun details like the gong to ring when a PR was obtained.
