This was my third marathon and my worst time yet, considering that in my 1999 Venice Marathon I broke my four-hour barrier. I had been married only six months and I was not able to train like I previously did.

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 2

Well organized with friendly staff. Course is tuff but the many vistas throughout the run makes it worth the effort. The army band playing for each runner as they cross the finish line completes the marathon high.
