Race Details

The race courses are flat and fast, and the route includes plenty of shady neighborhoods, several golf courses, and enough crowd support to help you get to the finish for your first time or your fastest time. The marathon course will be USAT&F certified and a Boston Marathon qualifying race.

Aid stations will be every 1.5 miles and include both water and sports drink, and on-course entertainment will include live music. The time limit for completing the marathon is six and a half hours. The course closes on a rolling schedule based on a 15:00 per mile pace.

All runners will receive a technical shirt, a custom medal, a goody bag, and post-race food and beer, and all proceeds from the race will benefit two local non-profit organizations (Mercy Project and Still Creek Ranch).

"Very poor course markings but good aid stations" (about: 2023)

Pros: Small, pleasant race. Decent parking and fun post-race celebration. Finisher jacket is a nice windbreaker. Great aid station volunteers.

Cons: Route is VERY poorly marked. Multiple turns were missed by the front runners. CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS RACE until this is fixed!!! Can't count on having pacers show up. Not a lot of spectators.

"Beautiful and lots of support" (about: 2022)

Running on Texas A&M campus was gorgeous! Hills are slight. So much course support. Gu, skittles, gummy bears, bananas, oranges, salt, Vaseline, Gatorade, water, and outhouses. Lots of enthusiastic people cheering you on. They do close the course right behind the 6h30m paced runner, so don't fall behind that mark or you will be removed, or left to navigate on your own.

Got a cool light jacket at the end, huge metal, and a gong to bang. Free burritos and other regular end course goodies. I'll be back next year.

Extremely well run event with amazing swag. Post race food was best I ever had for marathon. Limited crowd support for marathon runners, but course wasn't crowded. Plan to do it for a 5th time next year.

This race never fails to be extremely well organized, have fantastic, supportive volunteers and coordinators, and have the best swag. I come back for it every year!

The race was very well managed, aid-stations were ample and well placed. Food and drinks provided after the race was awesome! Loved the finisher's jacket as well! This was my first half marathon and couldn't have hoped for better!

"Best race support ever!" (about: 2019)

A really nice race jacket and metal impressed me at first but when we got to the water stops especially after mile seven I was amazed! There was Kleenex and further along the route there were gummy bears, skittles, Girl Scout cookies, oranges, bananas, salt tablets, Tylenol and more! The end of the race has so much food and drinks, I didn't need lunch.

"The most incredible run of my life!" (about: 2019)

2 previous marathons | 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon

The organization of the run was superb. The team that led the race was very easy to contact, and gave directions that were clear. The course was entertaining, and people were placed in amazing positions to help or encourage the runners.

"Runs like a well-oiled machine" (about: 2019)

11-50 previous marathons | 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon

Every aspect of this race was well-organized and ran like clockwork. They anticipated the runners' every need. I especially liked that you could pick up awards and head home (I had a long drive) and not have to wait on awards ceremony. The medal is one of my favorites, but I wish they would have 'unveiled' it on social media prior to the race so I could know what I was looking forward to. This is a big motivating factor for many runners. The spectators on the A&M campus were super spirited!

"Can be a lonely race for marathoners" (about: 2019)

11-50 previous marathons | 3 Bryan/College Station Marathons

I ran the half and that race has many participants! The full, not as many, so if you want interaction, enter with friends and stick together! - all in all the race is well done, well organized, and has good eats and drinks after

D. Y. from College Station, Texas (12/11/2019)
"Hands down THE best race!!" (about: 2019)

4-5 previous marathons | 4-5 Bryan/College Station Marathons
COURSE: 5  ORGANIZATION: 5  FANS: 5

I've run this race multiple years and it never disappoints. The course is fast and flat. The spectators are loud, encouraging, and so supportive of the runners. The water/ aid stations are always stocked with everything you need to push through and run your best race. I can't recommend this race enough!
