Race Details

The most scenic Marathon and Half Marathon in Utah. Start in back of the majestic Mt Timpanogos then run past the Sundance Ski Resort. Once you are to Provo Canyon you will get onto the Provo River Parkway Trail and run next to the beautiful Provo River during the Fall Colors. The course ends near the mouth of Provo Canyon at the Ron Last Park.

The organization was nonexistent for this race, worse ever. From weak expo to marathoners not having bathrooms at start, drop bags left and lost for hours, post race party lame to point where costume contest didn't even happen after being announced all day. Poor avatar who waited and waited. It was my first marathon and despite lows the course was beautiful. Traffic was cleared so we had whole lane on highway. Costumed runners looked great! Fall colors amazing on bike path. I carried my own water, refilled 1/2 way. Spectators few and not much cheering. This event has potential to be best Halloween event, needs new director to organize and promote.
