"Nice first year race" (about: 2014)

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4

This was the first year for the marathon. The Race Director did their homework on what runners like. Chocolate milk and cookies at the finish. Great music from DJ. A nice finish/ start banner. Also course was clearly marked on a great loop around Lake Monona. Very cheap race entry wise and for a great cause.

I loved this no frills type small race. I participated in the marathon which was tiny and the runners got strung out. Despite that, I managed to meet fellow runners and have a pleasant race with great views and fabulous weather.
