The race starts and ends in downtown Lansing and proceeds to take you through East Lansing, the MSU campus including some farmland, multiple parks and the Lansing River Trail. There are water stations every 2 miles also serving Gatorade and some even had gels. Fan support was rather sporadic as can be expected considering there were only around 250 folks doing the full marathon. Weather was great, started out in 40's, ended in 60's. Course was well marked with volunteers at every turn as well as colored arrows on the roads/sidewalks. My only complaints would be that many of the roads were crowned so it can be hard to find a flat part to run on, and the finish line festivities get pretty sparse once you get past 4:15 or so. Again probably due to the number of entrants. The half marathon has well over 1000 people so there is a lot more hoopla around the 2 hour mark.
