"Disappointing awards ceremony" (about: 2016)

COURSE: 3 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 4

Very hilly course with some trails - nice scenic course, spectators sparse but very encouraging. RD stated 1,500 competitors for half and full marathon, but no age awards 'because we are too small' No award ceremony period. Sad to say that it smacks of getting maximum income with smallest output for participants. After travelling cross country and winning my age group a memento of Bend, Oregon would have been appreciated - perhaps Chamber of Commerce can dig into their pockets if organizers cannot for future events.
