This is one of the marathons in the Revel series. It starts at over 7000 feet and runs down the mountain to Tucson at 2400 feet. The first 20 miles are downhill and the remaining 6 miles are slightly rolling. The temperature at the start was in the high 30s but had climbed into the 70s at the end. This is a very well organized run. You can pick up your packet at the expo or pay a small fee to pick it up race morning. You are bussed from the finish to the start by bus that has a bathroom onboard. Photos are taken on the course and provided to you to download for free. The shirt and medal were good quality, but the design on both were not my favorites.
