Race Details

Cassoday "Prairie Chicken Capitol of the World" Marathon. A point to point route with a 1.2 mile loop in Cassoday before running out on the Heartland 100 course. Finishing at the 25 mile Teterville rd aid station. Get a great sample of a substantial amount of the historic Heartland 100 course. Much of the course meanders through open range with stunning views of the vast expanse of the Flint Hills tallgrass prairie. The Marathon cutoff is 8 hours, runners must reach Teterville rd aid station by 3:00 pm Saturday. Shuttle for Marathon participants from Teterville rd aid station back to start in Cassoday, runs approximately 10:30 am - 3:30 pm.
