COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This was a wonderful, small marathon with great race vounteers and services. As an old railroad bed that has been paved, there are no drastic elevation changes. The scenery was wonderful and varied. And it was QUIET! If you're like me and, out of exhaustion, can't process the crowd noise late in the run, this is definitely the marathon for you! And yet, there are numerous places for family and friends to cheer you on during the course. Being the inaugural run, I was expecting some glitches - there were none. Sharon and her crew really know what they're doing. I'm looking forward to next year! | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 Scenic and level, with good and sufficient water stops. Attentive volunteers and excellent organization. A marathon done by runners for runners. You'd expect an inaugural marathon to have some glitches - but this one had none!! Efficient start and great goodies at the end - even for us at the back of the pack. Five stars for the spectator's spirit, not their numbers. Good for a 1st time or a BQ. | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 3 The race was very well organized; flat course with very few (if any) hills. The volunteers where great, and ready to help - and with near-perfect weather conditions, this was a fun race. The post-race goodies far exceeded some of the big marathons that I've done. The race director and her staff did an awesome job!!! | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This Lake Wobegon Tail Marathon is one of the most scenic courses I have seen. From small towns, to lakes, to farms, to trees, to streams. No one would be disappointed with its beauty. The course is flat and fast. Everything was well thought out and organized. Sharon covered every detail perfectly. The volunteers were extremely supportive and helpful. I am already looking forward to this race next year. | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 A true MN marathon. The trail was beautiful and well marked. If you're looking for a small race, I highly recommend this one. The organizers did a great job for any year, let a lone their first. GREAT JOB! |
