COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I was extremely impressed with this race. The course was wonderful, the organization of the race was impressive, and overall it leaves you wanting more. I really can't say enough positive things about this race. I've ran Houston, Austin, and Dallas but I really think this is my new favorite! | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This was my first half marathon and it was such a wonderful experience! For months before the race the online FB community was motivating and encouraging. Registration was easy, packet pickup fast and easy, and the raceday was wonderful - great spectators, lovely day. | |

COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 Excellent race. It was well organized from start to finish. The stations were great, particularly the gatorade. The powder was mixed well, which is usually not the case in many races. Awesome mileage signs too. Loved how the kiddos could run down the finish lane with Mom/Dad (not the case in bigger races). They are an inspiration to many runners and were the ones benefitting from the race. Also, the volunteer/police presence was fantastic. It was a very impressive inaugural event! | |

I have run many halfs and several marathons all over the country and love the open spaces of a Texas Marathon as compared to the encroaching and confining, mind-numbingly loud crowds of a Chicago Marathon. Your initial BCS Marathon was well planned and orchestrated. The many cones, cops and volunteers kept us going in the right direction on a very circuitus course. I believe that you have a race which will grow in popularity and the resultant number of racers each year. Good luck and let me know how I can join in sponsoring the next BCS Marathon!
