"Greatly organized and well thought out!" (about: 2014)

This was my second year running the race and it was better than last year and last year was outstanding. It just keeps building on last years accomplishments and learning from any miscues. Great Swag! Great Expo! Instant Results! This year the course was full of people.

This was a great course mostly flat. Aid stations were perfectly placed and supplied well.

Perhaps the best part of the race was crossing the finish line and still feelIng as if all the participants were valued. Often events tell you to join them and moment you cross the finish they make you feel like you are no longer wanted. The BCS marathon continued to let you stay and cherish every sMile that allowed you to cross the finish. This alone has the most value.

We were well taken care of during this race. Plenty of aid stations and the swag bag was great. Plus the cause that the BCS Marathon supports is inspiring.

This is the friendliest, best organized event I run. The after race party is great. Much of the course is lovely. I dislike the part through campus. I don't like to have a course running away from the finish line that close to the end. It is dispiriting.

So thankful to have had the BCS Marathon experience! Even though I am injured & it took longer than originally hoped, it could not have not gone any better especially with this being my first full marathon! Looking forward to future BCS runs!

I loved the details and care put into the race, like having volunteers go door to door to let the community know roads would be closed. My favorite part was seeing the joy in the sweet girls face as she put the medal around my neck.

"Well-organized! Great Course! Awesome Spectators!" (about: 2014)

The BCS Marathon is one of the most organized events I have ever participated in. They really do take care of their runners. Volunteers were everywhere, super friendly and had answers to all of the questions asked. Course support was outstanding, even for a back-of-the-pack runner, there was more than enough of what was promised at each support table along the course as well as at the finish line. I ran this as my first full marathon and with a time well above average (just under 5:30), I felt as though I was just as important and special to them as those who finished sub-4:00 or better. I was well taken care of from registration to finish of race, I will return to this event.

A great event. Very well organized. Very well staffed. LOTS of support and encouragement along the entire course. Spoiled me on my first marathon. Plan to run again.
