"Great Marathon!" (about: 2012)

I ran the BCS last year and again this year and it was even better this year. There were plenty of aid stations, and each one was packed with supplies (water, gatorade, Tylenol, Vaseline, etc.) The course was pretty and I really enjoyed all the time on west campus because that's where I do several training runs. Most intersections (all major ones) had either police or Corps of Cadets directing traffic which is very helpful. There weren't as many spectators out this year as last, and some parts of the full course were super quiet, but overall it was great!

"This is the half marathon of the year! Best ever!" (about: 2012)

From start to finish from registration to packet pick up there is no better race in Texas.. I can't say enough about this race.. Chris and his amazing group of volunteers make this a top notch experience.. I ran it last year and invited 6 people from Abilene with me... They all said the same thing!! I highly recommend!

"Great course, great organization, will do again." (about: 2012)

4-5 previous marathons

I was a little worried because I did not feel prepared for the half marathon. I had only done a few long runs but on hilly roads. This course was FLAT and scenic and made for a great run. I loved all the great communication from the race director. I'll be back.

Fantastic organization with everything! Aid/water stations were perfectly spaced. Thanks! I'll run again next year!

"All-Around Very Impressive , Enjoyable Race!" (about: 2012)

1 previous marathon | 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon

Everything about the race was PERFECT! The things they had control over and the things they didn't (weather). I would only like for there to have been Same Day Packet Pick-Up so people w/o the ways or means to get it early won't be forced to stay overnight. I loved the resident participation and enthusiasm. They added to the fun! Will do this one, again.

"Best Supported Race!" (about: 2012)

11-50 previous marathons | 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon
COURSE: 5  ORGANIZATION: 5  FANS: 5

I want to thank all the volunteers and your ability to plan for the unpredictable. Everything went great, the best supported race I have raced. I needed the services of the medical tent at the end and they were awesome as well as the folks handing the medals knowing what questions to ask and to be alert for runners needing help if just to cool off. Great day! Thanks!

"I would run this again" (about: 2012)

1 previous marathon | 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon

This was a great effort by Chris Fields, the staff, and the Scott & White medical team. They made the best out of a bad situation with the weather conditions which turned hot & humid after weeks of forecasts for cold weather. True Texas spirit in dealing with unpredictable Texas weather.

Awesome finish line & food afterwords.

Would recommend this race to anyone.

"Fantastic, Well Organized Race" (about: 2012)

6-10 previous marathons | 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon

This is one of the best organized races. I have run in five different cities in different marathons and this is by far the best run. The course is great, the support is awesome, and the after party is fantastic.
