From the pre-race communication to the course support to the post race festivities, this is hands down my favorite race of anywhere! So much attention to detail by the race directors and volunteers.

"Good smaller race" (about: 2017)

11-50 previous marathons | 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon

This is a smaller race that is very well organized and supported. The course is very flat and winds its way through the A&M campus. The crowds were small, but supportive and it is nice to see the town and university. For me, the 2017 course was long - I had 26.73 on my Garmin at the end - and I heard many others with the same complaint. I am good about not adding extra distance on during the race so not sure what the issue was.

"INCREDIBLE RACE! Loved it and would do again." (about: 2017)

I loved everything about this race... first time doing a half marathon and I am so glad this was the race that opened my eyes to the running world and my heart to the passion I have for it. I loved seeing the kids faces at the end of the race (the ones who were rescued from slavery), I love how accommodating the race was to the runners... I loved everything. I have a bit of post-race depression now. Next year can't come fast enough!

This race brings me back every year. I even drive in and back in the same day to do it. The organization and the charity (Mercy Project) are so amazing!!!!

I loved how everyone (runners, volunteers, medical staff, police officers, etc.) worked together towards one common goal, supporting the kids in Ghana. I thought everyone gave their best in this race. Great event to run in.

I've run either the half or full each time every year of this race. I did the full again this year and, as usual, loved it. I love the spot-on organization, wonderful community and volunteer support, and great course.

The event was very well organized. Volunteers great, police and local safety officers ensured runners were safe at cross roads. Nice finishers jacket.
