Had such a good time. Route was great. Kids were great giving medals. Mercy Project faces were cool. Santa! yep I gave him a high-five. Organization was outstanding, can't wait for next year! This race ROCKED!

"Great race in a great city." (about: 2013)

The race took us to the outskirts of town and then back through campus at the end. Not many spectators or distractions, but that was probably due to the weather. The spectators who did make their way around the course were very enthusiastic. You end the race on a very emotional note with the pictures of the rescued Mercy Project boys, and the Down's Syndrome children passing out the medals. Sweet ending to a long run.

This race is smaller than some I have done, but it has all the positives of a larger race. Well organized, good swag, and lots of volunteers. I had a great time, and running through the stretch of campus around miles 8-9 gave me a boost for the part of the race where I was starting to get tired.

Sarah Roberts from Houston Texas (12/9/2013)
"Fantastic!" (about: 2013)

I have run this half for the last two years and I will continue to run it every year. The aid stations are perfect, the communication is excellent and the runner perks are superb. With bigger races it is easy to feel small but when the race director personally gives you a high five at the finish you can't help but feel like part of it all.

This is one if not the best organized races I have ever run. The dedication of the race director and his team is amazing!

Great race. Second half ever. The entire College Station community knows and looks forward to this race, and spectators are very supportive.
Best and most responsive race director I've ever had and probably will ever have.
Great race.

Top notch race. The course, fan support, and post-race food were all fantastic! The race directors were out all night checking the course for weather hazards. Despite the frigid conditions, there was excellent fan support.

"Great Small Town Marathon with Big Perks" (about: 2013)

Excellent race despite the wheather. They have so many personal touches. Finishline food included cheese burger, pizza, various breakfast tacos, plus the normal fruit, gaterade. Still give out finisher t-shirts and cost less than normal half/full marathons. only if you ran the marathon last year, would you have known specators were down. But on campus the rowdy Aggie Boys made up for the neighborhood lower attendance.
