COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This is a great race. For people in town we have the chance to participate in seminars about nutrition, running injuries and training. The race is really well organized and we get a lot for what we pay, all the money goes to charities and runners get t-shirts, a foam roller and great food after the race. The course is perfect, well marked and volunteers did a great job. This race deserves not 5 but 10 stars. | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 If you aren't already following BCS Marathon+Half on Facebook, you should!!! It's not even for the bookoos of giveaways: shoes, race entry, socks...etc. The amount of communication is perfect and racers ARE ALWAYS 'in the know' and you can ask questions and the race coordinators ALWAYS respond. And Good Lord, a race director who has a heart so big that he WILL NOT close the course until the last 12 people come in... because he knows how hard they have worked for their day. God bless this race, the volunteers, the organizers and the participants and the WAY COOL people lining the couse route. So proud this happens in my backyard! (p.s. Did you hear about all the Dallas Marathon racers that were able to hop in their cars and join us thanks to the race organizers for allowing people to defer their own race, therefore opening up spots? Yeah. That totally happened. ;) ). | |
