"Very well-organized, runner-friendly race" (about: 2016)

Very pleasantly surprised by this event - I ran the half and found the proactive communications from the event team to be extremely helpful (and unusual as most others send 1 generic email). Super friendly runners, great course, for the size of the event the crowd support was pretty good, but I would have expected a little more on campus (although, it may be that most students had already gone home for winter break). Thanks and I will definitely do this one again!

"1st class run. Couldn't ask for much more." (about: 2016)

4-5 previous marathons | 2 Bryan/College Station Marathons

The course has a great layout and you would be hard pressed to ask for much more. The support at the medical and water tables is first class. Plenty of volunteers, an abundance of port-a-potties, and pretty good community support. The race has plenty of participants, but doesn't feel overly crowded. The crowd is spread out by the first half mile and you rarely (if ever) feel restricted.

Appreciate everything that went into making the race! The policemen keeping us safe, the volunteers cheering and keeping us hydrated, and the food vendors to make the finish even sweeter! Really enjoyed this race!

"The race had a great atmosphere and fast pace." (about: 2016)

First Marathon
COURSE: 5  ORGANIZATION: 5  FANS: 5

This was my second Half and only my first time running the BCS Marathon+Half Marathon. However, it will not be my last as I'm already planning to run next year. The race itself felt fast pace and the atmosphere was incredible. Tons of spectators with encouraging signs, even some funny ones to make the run that much better.

"Favorite race every year!" (about: 2016)

I look forward to this race every year. The volunteers and spectators around the city are amazing and so encouraging. The organization is also very well put together and as a race participant you really feel part of a team and not just a number!

This was my first marathon so I wasn't sure what to expect but I had an awesome time. The event staff, volunteers & crowd support were phenomenal. I plan on making this a yearly event, keep up the outstanding job!!!

"Flat Fast Course" (about: 2016)

2 previous marathons | 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon

Volunteers on the course were great, hills were nothing major (when talking about hills in 26.2 miles of running), finish line was well organized, and great communication from the RD

"I would give this race 10 stars if I could!!!" (about: 2016)

From registration to finishing the race it is absolutely AMAZING! I ran my very first marathon here and ran a half marathon here WHILE PREGNANT!!! The support I received was above and beyond...from fellow runners to the race organization team to the spectators! The proceeds go to 2 wonderful organizations (Mercy Project and Brazos County Downs Syndrome Assoc). I can't wait to sign up for the 2017 marathon next year!

"Fantastic race day, couldn't have been happier!" (about: 2016)

Great organization, plenty of emails with information. All my information was correct and handled well. Raceday had a nice little bag drop off and pick up for my stuff, there were plenty of water stations through the course, and at the end there was great food, and sweet finisher jacket!

"Exceptional run with even better support" (about: 2016)

A well put together race with plenty of spectators but stretches of the run out on the open road that allowed you to settle into your pace without distraction. The organizers did a terrific job of making sure it was extremely well staffed and had a large police presence to ensure the safety of the runners and the fluidity of the event. Would highly recommend.
